Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Build Power BI models based on Snowflake, Star, and Relational data models.
  • Implement secure and efficient connectivity to various data sources within the Microsoft Tool stack.
  • Guide a team of developers across multiple projects.
  • Work closely with business users to define, document, and enhance reporting and dashboarding requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with Business Users and Architects to plan and schedule data solution projects.
  • Ensure data quality, cleansing, and governance.
  • Provide training and support to business users on reporting and dashboarding tools.
  • Implement configuration management and change control processes.
  • Establish and ensure adherence to quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ability to resolve complex modeling issues in Power BI with minimal support.
  • Expertise in SQL, MDX, and DAX queries with experience in performance tuning and debugging.
  • Experience in creating advanced models and visualizations for impactful dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Power Query, M, R, and Python is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, Information Retrieval, and Data Analysis.
  • Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc., is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Stack components (Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure SQL DBs, etc.).
  • Experience with APIs and web services.
  • Stakeholder management experience and good estimation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.

Key Skills Required

  • Advanced SQL skills for queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Expertise in DAX and M language.
  • Advanced SharePoint experience.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake strategies.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and identifying trends from complex datasets.
